The long awaited documentary is here; Immersed in Subversion :: Control the Culture; Control the Man; it is an analysis of Anita Sarkeesian, the Feminist Video Game critic who’s most recently been seen arguing for Internet censorship at the UN, or shadow banning Twitter users as part of Twitter’s Trust and Safety Council.
Anita Sarkeesian could have been anybody; she’s not the story, anymore than Zoe Quinn was the story of #GamerGate. The story itself is the story; the fact that present-day media is corrupt and pushing a narrative is the story. The individual players don’t matter – but by examining one of them, it allows us to see the whole structure for what it truly is.
